Distribution Supervisor

Position Overview

The Distribution Supervisor oversees daily distribution operations, ensuring efficient route planning, timely deliveries, and smooth coordination of staff. This role involves managing loading procedures, reconciling documents, training new employees, and maintaining inventory control. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills are essential to ensure the department operates effectively and meets delivery schedules.

Who are we looking for?

·       Minimum 2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry

·       Clean Police Conduct

·       Experience in leading a team.

·       Ability to read and write in Maltese and English

·       Minimum of Driving Licence B

·       Be computer literate.

·       Be organised and self-motivated

Role & Responsibilities

·       Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet schedules.

·       Oversee daily operations, including loading goods, deliveries, and document reconciliation.

·       Manage inventory control, including stock returns, write-offs, and stock takes.

·       Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient work flow.

·       Supervise and support distribution staff, providing training and guidance as needed.

·       Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

·       Assist in analysing distribution data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

·       Handle customer inquiries and resolve distribution-related issues promptly.
