Categories of Personal Data

In order to take part in the competition, you must provide Us with your name, surname, proof of identification, contact number/s and photo (the ‘PD’) . Should you fail to provide Us with the PD we will be unable to consider you a participant of the competition.

We will process your PD for the purposes of taking part in the competition and announcing the winner and in the event that you do not provide us with the required PD, We will not be able to accept your competition submission and We will consider you to not have participated. Our legal basis for the processing of your PD is necessity for the performance of a contract to which you are a party and for the legitimate interests of the controller.

The Purpose

We shall process your data for the purpose of taking part in the competition, selecting the competition winners, and communicating with the competition winners.

Recipients of your PD

The recipients and processors of your PD are FBSM and Our employees. We will not be transferring your PD to Our intra-group companies, affiliates, or to any third parties.

Retention

Your PD shall be retained for the duration of the competition and thereafter your PD will be erased.

Your Rights

You have a right to object to Our processing of your PD, access the PD We hold about you and to request that We export such PD in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format to you or to another controller indicated by you. You also have a right to request that We immediately rectify, block or erase your PD. Blocking and erasure of PD provided for the purposes of entering the competition may only be effected by Us in accordance with the competition terms and conditions and any other obligations incumbent on Us.

Any queries you may have regarding Our processing of your PD may be addressed to FBSM’s DP Executive on the email address above. Furthermore, you have a right to lodge a complain with the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta(www.idpc.gov.mt).
